C&F turbine servicing
C&F wind turbine servicing and repairs
Servicing, fault finding and repairs for C&F Green Energy turbines across Scotland and the rest of the UK, from the CF11 right up to the CF100.
The C&F models we work on
We service and repair the full C&F range, from the smaller farm turbines to the larger commercial machines.
If your C&F has stopped, is throwing faults or just hasn't been serviced in a while, we can help.
C&F Green Energy, the Irish company that made these turbines, stopped manufacturing and went into liquidation in 2019. With the right servicing and repairs, a C&F turbine can keep generating for years, and we can keep yours running.
We look at how your turbine has been running, where it's installed and what condition it's in before deciding what needs doing.
What we do on C&F turbines

Why C&F owners choose us
- Turbine specialists. Servicing and repairing wind turbines is all we do.
- Honest advice. We'll tell you straight what does and doesn't need doing.
- Reliable when things go wrong. We turn up when we say we will.
- UK-wide. Based in the northeast of Scotland, with customers from Aberdeenshire to Cornwall.
Repair or replace?
Most C&F turbines can be kept running with the right servicing and repairs, and that's always where we start.
If yours is reaching the end of its life, we're also the UK agent for Kodair. The Kodair KW20 is a 20kW turbine with a 13.1 metre rotor, and the KW30 offers more power for windier sites. If your C&F is on the feed-in tariff, you may be able to keep those payments after replacing it.

Questions
Do you service all C&F models?
Yes. We work on the CF11, CF15, CF20, CF50, CF75 and CF100.
Is C&F still trading?
No. C&F Green Energy stopped making turbines and a liquidator was appointed in April 2019. The company was formally dissolved in November 2021. Your turbine can still be serviced and repaired, and that's what we do.
My C&F turbine has stopped. Can you help?
Yes. Give us a call on 07943 011440 and tell us what's happening, including any fault codes on the controller. We'll talk it through and arrange a visit if needed.
How often should a C&F turbine be serviced?
We recommend servicing a C&F turbine once a year. Regular servicing helps catch problems early, before they turn into breakdowns and lost generation.
Can I keep my feed-in tariff if I replace my C&F?
Often, yes. Since Ofgem changed its rules in 2021, an accredited turbine can usually be replaced without losing its feed-in tariff for the years left, though Ofgem looks at each case individually. We'll help you check with your FiT supplier before any work starts.
Do you cover my area?
Yes. We cover the whole of Scotland, England and Wales.
Is your C&F producing what it should?
Enter your figures to see how far your turbine is down, and what that's costing you each year. You'll find your yearly units on your feed-in tariff meter readings.

For the CF20, "should make" uses the independently certified figures for the CF20 (Phase A), less 5% for downtime. For other models, or if you enter your best year, it compares last year with your own best year on the same site. Feed-in tariff figures don't include yearly inflation rises. Treat this as a guide, and we'll give you a proper assessment when we see your turbine.
